MALEDICTOR is a full version boomer shooter designed for Windows, drawing inspiration from classic first-person shooters like Blood, DOOM, and Duke Nukem. Players take on the role of Clayton, a resurrected character fighting against the Cult of the Maledictor. The game emphasizes challenging gameplay, utilizing high-impact weapons and tight movement mechanics, while immersing players in a dark and bloody atmosphere. Players must master dodging hitscanners, evading projectiles, and managing resources to survive against formidable enemies.
The game offers twelve diverse weapons, from a 10mm pistol to an A-10 strafing run, enhancing the combat experience. Unique features include hand-painted sprite-based graphics and a radio show for each non-boss level, which covers ghost stories, trivia, and conspiracy theories.
